1:1 Learning Support Assistant needed in Greenwich

Job Purpose:

They urgently require a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support students with diverse requirements, including:

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Behavioural Challenges
- Anxiety

Responsibilities

- Provide 1:1 support to students in both provision and mainstream settings.

- Assist students in achieving their academic and personal goals.

- Develop and implement individualized support plans.

- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams.

- Foster independence, self-esteem, and social skills.

Requirements:

- Experience working with students with varied needs.

- Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Optional)

- Enhanced DBS clearance.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

- Experience working in post-16 education.

- Training in ASD, ADHD, and SEMH strategies.
