Job Purpose:

Urgently require a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to provide personalized support to students with:

- Physical disabilities
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Global Developmental Delay (GDD)

Responsibilities:

- Provide 1:1 support with personal care, hoisting, and administering medication.

- Assist students in achieving their academic and personal goals.

- Develop and implement individualized support plans.

- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams.

- Foster independence, self-esteem, and social skills.

Requirements:

- Experience working with students with complex needs.

- Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Optional).

- Enhanced DBS clearance.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

- Hoisting and medication administration training (or willingness to train).
