Position: HLTA to Lead SEN Provision
Location: Mainstream School in Purley
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Are you passionate about inclusive education and ready for a fulfilling leadership role?
We are looking for an experienced HLTA to lead a SEN provision within a welcoming mainstream school in Purley. This is a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young students with special educational needs, focusing on students with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
In this key role, you will be leading a dedicated team of support staff, managing provision for a small, close-knit group of students. Currently, the SEN provision supports four children with three staff members. You will work closely with our SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), receiving PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time to collaborate effectively on tailored learning plans.
This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to be part of a team that truly cares. You’ll be part of a positive, collaborative school environment where every team member is valued and every child is supported. If you’re looking to grow in your career and make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
