Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant in Bromley, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and personal development of children with additional SEN. Working alongside our experienced staff, you will create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, helping our students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and emotional/behavioral difficulties.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages engagement and learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support students' emotional and social well-being.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant qualification or experience in SEN education or support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Organizational abilities to assist in lesson planning and execution.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equality in education.
  • Dedication to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students.
