Job Description:
Future Education is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide individualized support to students with Autism and Complex Needs, facilitating their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to students with Autism and Complex Needs.
- Assist teachers in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons.
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to meet individual student needs.
- Develop and implement behavioral support strategies.
- Encourage independence, self-esteem, and social skills.
- Monitor student progress and report to teachers and parents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and external agencies.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
