‍Job Purpose:

‍The School is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, providing individualized support to students with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties.

‍

‍Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support to students with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties.
• Assist teachers in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons.
• Develop and implement behavioral support strategies
• Encourage independence, self-esteem, and social skills.
• Monitor student progress and report to teachers and parents.

Requirements:‍

• Experience working with students with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties.
• Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (optional).
• Enhanced DBS clearance

Desirable:‍

• Experience working in a Secondary SEN setting.
• Training in Autism-specific strategies (e.g., TEACCH, PECS)
